AstaDaily is a premium Canadian wellness brand focused on natural astaxanthin innovation backed by microalgae biotechnology research. We’re growing quickly across DTC, Amazon, influencer marketing, and retail expansion across Canada, and we’re looking for a smart, resourceful, internet-native marketer to help grow our organic presence and community engagement.
This is a hands-on startup role for someone who learns fast, takes initiative, and genuinely understands how online communities work.
What You’ll Do
- Engage authentically in Reddit, Quora, Facebook Groups, and wellness communities
- Help drive organic brand awareness through community-led growth strategies
- Create and post short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
- Research trends, conversations, creators, and viral content opportunities
- Write educational posts, community comments, and social captions
- Support influencer outreach, partnerships, and ambassador programs
- Help execute grassroots marketing campaigns, giveaways, and retail activations
- Monitor engagement, community feedback, and emerging conversations
- Collaborate closely with the founder and marketing team on growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written English communication skills
- Deep familiarity with Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Groups, and internet culture
- Smart, curious, resourceful, and a fast learner
- Strong can-do attitude and willingness to figure things out independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Self-motivated with strong execution skills
- Interest in wellness, supplements, health, beauty, or consumer brands is a plus
- Basic content creation, design, or video editing skills are a bonus (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience growing social or online communities
- Experience creating UGC or short-form videos
- Knowledge of organic marketing, SEO, or influencer marketing
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon, or startup environments
